Welcome to Carsington Fields Caravan Park

A delightful, landscaped, spacious park offering grass pitches and hardstanding pitches for touring caravans, motorhomes, campervans and some tents. Situated in the Derbyshire Dales, only 400 yards from Carsington Water reservoir and less than 5 miles from the Peak District National Park.

We, Judy and Pete purchased the land in May 1993, that’s when Carsington Fields life began, after many years of hard work, passion, love and pride we have created the caravan park we have today.
Carsington Fields is a family run business and we specialise in a quiet, peaceful, relaxing place to stay. Please see our site guidelines.

Look out for our fish and ducks in our large (fenced off) pond, sorry no fishing.

We also have 4 happy resident Pygmy goats, Cara, Van, Cam and Ping. Check out our cheerful chickens; these ladies lay tasty eggs for you to buy.

There are plenty of grass areas for the children to play.

We are ideally located very near to the beautiful Carsington Water reservoir, with easy access to a lot of local attractions, plenty of places to eat and drink, the picturesque market town of Ashbourne is only 5 miles away.

Lovely site. We spent four nights here exploring the area. Facilities spotless and lovely hot showers. Spacious pitches, within well tended grounds. Super staff who go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Super friendly. Super site, clean showers and toilets. Generous pitches. Everything you could want from a camp site. Hook up pitch was very handy for water, and large expance of grass to the front and hedge to the rear. Good small shop for essentials. Quite a windy week end but sheltered at the site. Carsington Reservoir an easy walk to the visitor centre. More challenging to walk clock wise round for the first half, well worth a visit to The Miners Arms about half way 🙂

Great site, lovely place just to sit out and chill. Highly recommend the place. Only 400 m from Carsington water. Would definitely recommend it and will be using it again.

Absolutely beautiful campsite, we will be back! Our toddler loved the ducks, goats and chickens. Everywhere is really well kept and clean, showers and toilets especially clean and added bonus of a hairdryer.Staff so friendly and helpful, we have never been to a more accommodating site. Thank you for having us, hoping to be back soon 😁

Absolutely amazing, very friendly from the moment we arrived on Friday stayed till Tuesday over bank holiday it was brilliant from start to finish, it was our 1st time visiting this site but definitely won’t be our last, we’re quite new to caravaning and came to our assistance and realised we had a blown fuse, sorry forgot his name but he sorted it without making us feel to stupid for not knowing what it was lol, Judy recommended local places to eat giving us a book with menu’s, couldn’t of been more helpful even giving us a route map to our next destination when we left, Looking forward to our next visit xx
