Welcome to Carsington Fields Caravan Park

A delightful, landscaped, spacious park offering grass pitches and hardstanding pitches for touring caravans, motorhomes, campervans and some tents. Situated in the Derbyshire Dales, only 400 yards from Carsington Water reservoir and less than 5 miles from the Peak District National Park.

We, Judy and Pete purchased the land in May 1993, that’s when Carsington Fields life began, after many years of hard work, passion, love and pride we have created the caravan park we have today.
Carsington Fields is a family run business and we specialise in a quiet, peaceful, relaxing place to stay. Please see our site guidelines.

Look out for our fish and ducks in our large (fenced off) pond, sorry no fishing.

We also have 4 happy resident Pygmy goats, Cara, Van, Cam and Ping. Check out our cheerful chickens; these ladies lay tasty eggs for you to buy.

There are plenty of grass areas for the children to play.

We are ideally located very near to the beautiful Carsington Water reservoir, with easy access to a lot of local attractions, plenty of places to eat and drink, the picturesque market town of Ashbourne is only 5 miles away.

An extremely relaxing couple of days at a beautiful campsite. Welcomed by Kate (and the goats) and shown to our pitch with everything explained to us. Facilities are very clean. Dog walk area. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Fab campsite in a lovely location with the cleanest toilets and showers I've seen. The goats are there to greet you and staff were lovely and really helpful. Look forward to our next visit.

Just had a lovely weekend here, it was a last minute decision and what a great decision it was too. Arrived late Friday night to be met by the lovely Kate who was so welcoming. This is a lovely quiet site, the toilet are absolutely immaculate with some lovely personnal extras and touches. Showers are free and so spacious. Pitches are large and site itself is lovely and well kept. Walking distance from Carsington waters with plenty to do in the surrounding areas. All in all a 10/10. Wow; What a find!!! This was our maiden voyage in our mo-ho and the site and Judy did not disappoint! The site is spotlessly clean, packed with facilities and easily accessed. Judy is warm, helpful, and generally brilliant. We can not wait to visit again and can not recommend the site enough. Thank you.

We were welcomed there by the staff and walked to our pitch, everything was clean and tidy. The bathrooms were really lovely, and loved that there was a fridge/freezer and microwave. What a wonderful stay

We just stayed here for the bank holiday weekend and what a beautiful place this is. The views are just gorgeous. Everyone was so friendly from the second we turned up to the moment we said goodbye. Judy and Kate were so lovely and helpful. The site is well maintained and has great facilities. Oreo our little pooch loved the dog walk and the kids had so much freedom to play and ride their bikes.. and they even got to see a hot air balloon take off. Safe to say we'll be coming back here.
