Chose this campsite for my 3 year old son’s first camping experience. Stayed overnight non-electric pitch Saturday to Sunday. There are lots of sites in the area but we were not disappointed with Carsington Fields and would highly recommend this site. Spacious pitches on the top field, brilliant dog walk with bins and bags available, friendly pygmy goats, ducks and hens on the site. Very clean and tidy. Excellent toilets/showers. Very friendly and welcoming owners/staff. We cannot wait to return in a few weeks for another camping adventure!

A very pleasant site with attentive hosts that are always there to help with a smile. Family oriented with definite quiet time… Dog walk and poop bags to help if you’ve forgotten! Carsington water provides several water based opportunities if the walking and cycling around it doesn’t keep you busy enough!

Just getting ready to go up to this site for Easter. We are lucky enough to have secured a seasonal pitch on this little gem. Pete, Judy and their staff are so friendly they immediately make you feel welcome. Great base if you want to relax and explore the surrounding area if you are more energetic there is Carsington Water nearby and you can hire bikes and cycle round the reservoir and take in the breath-taking scenery or walk it just over 8 miles. Pitches are well placed facilities always immaculate and clean. Everyone always seems so happy on this site and stops for a chat and I`m sure that is down to the dedicated hard work of all staff involved.

Just returned home from yet another fabulous stay at Carsington Fields. Weather was beautiful (not expected as horrendous when we left home). Warm welcome as always and facilities are just great and very clean! I’m not the best camper and go to keep the ‘boys’ happy so this is a must for me! Hot shower in the morning and on an evening before lighting the BBQ and watching my little boy have the time of his life, feeling very independent as he runs around the fields with the other children unaware that I can also have peace of mind knowing he is very safe. In fact he insists this is the best holiday and camping site ever!!! Beautiful (yet hard) bike ride around 8 miles of the reservoir and nice to stop for refreshment at the ‘Miners Pub’. Beautiful campsite and fabulous people running it to perfection. Even I’m sad to be home back in the rain and miss my ‘gem’ of a site. See you soon and thank you! Love the ‘muppets’ that went home & came back again! x

Had a lovely bank holiday weekend at Carsington Fields. Very friendly site. Lovely clean toilet and shower block. Huge dog walking field. Staff can’t do enough for you. 5 minute walk to Carsington Water and 40 min walk to Knockerdown Inn where we had a great Sunday lunch. For those up for a longer walk we walked to The Miners Arms in Carsington - a good hour and 40 mins but the food was so good. Kids and dog loved it! We will be back

Beautiful, peaceful, clean and extremely well run site with lovely owners and staff. We have visited this site a number of times now. On our last adventure, we had an issue with our tent. Judy and the team went above and beyond to help sort it and make the weekend an amazing experience. Thank you very much 😊

We’ve just come back from a long weekend at Carsington Fields Caravan Park. It’s a great location and the site is very well maintained, clean and tidy. There were lots of thoughtful touches around the site, such as shower gel in the showers, dog bags and bins located in various spots, information shed with handy maps etc and a little shop for any essential you might have forgotten (and some nice cakes).
Judy and her team were fantastic, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our pitch was very private and was really peaceful. It was lovely to see the ducks and goats wandering around and they also had chickens and you could purchase their eggs. There is a lovely dog walking field which was nice when the sun was setting.
It was a nice walk to carsington reservoir where there always seems to be something going on. Also, the Knockerdown pub was great for a well earned pint and food midway on the long walk.
We will be returning to take our daughter soon.

We have had an amazing stay here, it’s so peaceful and very clean and tidy, the facilities are kept very well, our son was happy as there was an area to play football. Would highly recommend. We went paddle boarding on the lake on the Saturday ideal somewhere local to stay. We will be back thank you for having us.

All perfect, had a great 4 day stay. Very welcoming and friendly. Toilets were spotless and all the lovely little touches just shows how much you care about your guests. Great that you welcome visitors ( grandchildren/children to spend the day )especially as they are the future vanners. The ducks visiting the awning was fab. Lovely place with lovely ladies to greet you. I came in my little camper with x2 dogs. The shower/toilets are spotless. I’ll definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely little break away x

Lovely site. We spent four nights here exploring the area. Facilities spotless and lovely hot showers. Spacious pitches, within well tended grounds. Super staff who go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Super friendly. Super site, clean showers and toilets. Generous pitches. Everything you could want from a camp site. Hook up pitch was very handy for water, and large expance of grass to the front and hedge to the rear. Good small shop for essentials. Quite a windy week end but sheltered at the site. Carsington Reservoir an easy walk to the visitor centre. More challenging to walk clock wise round for the first half, well worth a visit to The Miners Arms about half way 🙂

Great site, lovely place just to sit out and chill. Highly recommend the place. Only 400 m from Carsington water. Would definitely recommend it and will be using it again.

Absolutely beautiful campsite, we will be back! Our toddler loved the ducks, goats and chickens. Everywhere is really well kept and clean, showers and toilets especially clean and added bonus of a hairdryer.Staff so friendly and helpful, we have never been to a more accommodating site. Absolutely amazing, very friendly from the moment we arrived on Friday stayed till Tuesday over bank holiday it was brilliant from start to finish, it was our 1st time visiting this site but definitely won’t be our last, we’re quite new to caravaning and came to our assistance and realised we had a blown fuse, sorry forgot his name but he sorted it without making us feel to stupid for not knowing what it was lol, Judy recommended local places to eat giving us a book with menu’s, couldn’t of been more helpful even giving us a route map to our next destination when we left, Looking forward to our next visit xx
